A leading global healthcare company in Witney is seeking a Production Engineer to innovate manufacturing processes and support equipment effectiveness in their Operations Engineering Group. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with a strong track record in Production Engineering. As a result of strong business growth, industry-leading product development in the biosensor business and a long-term commitment to high volume manufacturing in Witney, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Group, focusing on the innovation of equipment to meet the needs of an evolving product portfolio, working with R+D on new processes, products and engineering solutions to maintain equipment effectiveness. This role will see you develop and lead on strategies in relation to bespoke engineering solutions to support the on-going and evolving manufacturing requirements.
The Production Engineer is responsible for the delivery of significant new processes, product, equipment, and technologies to the business. In this role you will:
To be successful, you will ideally be degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, however a proven track record and experience in Production Engineering environment is acceptable. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a track record of leading projects and/or a team of skilled engineers, having a future focused long-term vision and most importantly a history and enthusiasm of idea generation and application of new or existing technologies.
