Job description

A Senior Production Engineer / Technician with a background involving the assembly and manufacture of electro‑mechanical components and systems, will join an award‑winning Technology Company. The successful Production Engineer / Technician will bring a range of knowledge and experience across electronic manufacturing and electronic/mechanical systems.

In this challenging and diverse role the Senior Production Engineer will play a crucial role in the manufacturing, assembly and test processes, ensuring the efficient production of mission critical opto‑electromechanical devices.

The Senior Production Engineer / Technician should possess the following:

  • An Engineering qualification (minimum of HNC/HND).
  • Familiarity across electronic, electrical and mechanical engineering principles with ability to read schematic designs.
  • Proven experience of Electro‑mechanical assembly techniques.
  • Good soldering and wiring skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault‑finding and debugging skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a Senior Technician / Production Engineer role.

Applicants for this Senior Production Engineer / Technician role should have full eligibility to work in the UK, possess 5+ years Production Engineering experience and hold an HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline.
