Production Engineer

€45,000 - €55,000 + Annual bonus and share scheme up to 10% per annum, every Friday working from home, private medical and additional holiday scheme

The Company

Our client is a design engineering start up, producing innovative electro-mechanical products with a focus on green technology. Already securing partnerships with global manufacturers, they have spent the last 15 years designing a product that meets client needs. Now with a team of over 20 and the latest round of fundraising complete, they are ready to begin commercial mass-production.

As a result they are looking to recruit a Production Engineer with immediate effect.

The Role

The role of Production Engineer is a new role for the business, bridging a vital gap between design and production, and provides the opportunity to shape the future of the team and business. The Production Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager and Technical Director to take the designs to production, working closely with customers to ensure a smooth overall process. The role of Production Engineer will involve:

  • Verification and validation testing to confirm performance, durability and safety
  • Producing documentation including test plans, build instructions, compliance reports, and production release files
  • Establishing SOPs and quality control
  • Troubleshooting issues in production to establish root cause
  • Working closely with OEM partners to support them with technical queries or issues
The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Production Engineer role you will need:

  • Experience seeing designs through to production, with the ability to establish the root cause of any issues
  • Experience in testing and validation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs
  • Experience communicating technical information between design, production, and customers
  • The desire to take ownership of Production Engineering and the future expansion of the team
