An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading global organisation within a heavy engineering and manufacturing environment. This position offers involvement in high-profile manufacturing projects, process development, and continuous improvement within an advanced engineering environment.

This role would suit a detail-oriented engineer with a background in lean manufacturing or assembly processes, ideally within the defence, automotive, or aerospace industries. It is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving efficiency, and being hands-on in a production environment while collaborating across engineering and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transfer and embed production knowledge from the European parent site to the UK facility.
  • Act as the shopfloor focal point for manufacturing engineering and tooling within the AIT area, supporting operators and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities and process optimisation using lean principles.
  • Provide design-for-manufacture input during product development and manage engineering change implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards across all manufacturing activities.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and 7% pension contributions.
