Production Engineer – Honiton
Location: Honiton, Devon
Full-Time | Manufacturing Sector
£45,000 - £50,000 (day shift)

Are you a practical problem solver with a passion for production engineering? We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join our dynamic client at a leading manufacturing company based in Honiton.

About the Role

As a key part of their engineering department, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, improving, and developing their production processes, machinery, and equipment. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, tools, and production equipment
  • Supporting design and development of new machinery and components
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on the production line
  • Working closely with the production team to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensuring all engineering work complies with health & safety regulations

About You

  • Qualified in Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within manufacturing or production
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of mechanical systems and production machinery
