Job summary

A specialist in water purification systems in High Wycombe seeks a Production Engineer to provide manufacturing support in the UK and China. You will work closely with the Production Engineering team to implement new products, maintain equipment, and drive improvements. My client has over 80 years’ experience dedicated to solely pioneering water purification systems. The company is dedicated to research and innovative product and solution design and work closely with leading laboratory instrument companies to customise and develop solutions for specific requirements.

Role Overview

As the Production Engineer, you’ll be tasked with providing engineering support across all aspects of the manufacturing operations in the UK and China. Additionally, the Production Engineer will work closely with the Production Engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of new products and modifications, maintain the manufacturing facilities’ equipment, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in a production engineering role
  • Proven experience in a production engineering environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling design
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, machinery, and quality control
  • Experience in cost optimisation and identifying efficiencies
  • Willingness to travel between the UK and China to support production facilities
