Job summary

Miller Homes is seeking a Production / Construction Director to join our South-West Production team. The role ensures developments are delivered on time, within budget and to exact specification, while protecting health, safety and welfare.

You will build and lead a high-performing team, align operations with the business strategy and continuously improve site performance, quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Have experience in a similar role, ideally with a volume housebuilder.
• A natural leader with driving ambition and the self-confidence and natural propensity to empower and develop both teams and team members.
• To have vision, good leadership and time management skills and an ability to prioritise ever changing/competing business needs.
• To be able to set clear and unambiguous objectives through clear and decisive instructions.

• Ensure all operational and commercial aspects of production are effectively monitored and controlled with potential problems being identified and addressed without adverse impact.
• Build and lead a team that is fully aligned and committed to the business and whose capability and contribution is optimised.
• Consistently deliver an excellent product to the customer and to do so within both programme and budget.
• Ensure that our incident and accident performance is at a level which is amongst the very best in the industry.

We are looking to recruit a Production / Construction Director to join our fantastic South-West Production team. The role will see you manage the Production function ensuring that developments are consistently delivered on time, within budget and to specification. To ensure the health safety and welfare of employees, subcontractors and members of the public.
