Qualifications

Production Coordinator - £36,500 - Cambridge

Job Purpose:

As a Production Coordinator, you will oversee the entire production lifecycle to ensure customer expectations are met. This includes planning and managing material supply, production progress, and delivery to customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage the production schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  2. Coordinate and plan production activities between departments.
  3. Track and report on performance KPIs.
  4. Mitigate risks related to materials and stock.
  5. Maintain accurate MRP demand for supply chain activities.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience as a production controller or coordinator, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in managing safety, quality, productivity, and costs in production.
  • Strong ability to develop internal stakeholder relationships, influence, and lead positive outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems and excellent IT skills, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and evaluative skills, with a focus on data and KPIs.
