Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains in Milton Keynes is seeking a Production Controller to manage demand and orchestrate scheduling for our V6 and single-cylinder power unit programmes, ensuring parts arrive on time and capacity plans are optimised.

You will work in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment, collaborate across engineering, procurement and operations, and play a key role in translating complex technical requirements into actionable production actions within ERP/PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering, planning, or operations setting (automotive or motorsport preferred).

In this role, you’ll be at the centre of our world‑class power unit production facility, managing demand and orchestrating the smooth scheduling of our V6 and single cylinder engine assembly programs. Ensuring the right components arrive at the right time to turn ambitious project plans into reality. Managing and prioritising hardware, allocations and build shop capacity plans with precision.

This isn’t just about coordination, it’s about problem‑solving under pressure and thriving in the fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment of Formula One. With the team moving from R&D into race‑pool production, your work will directly support the delivery of power units into the back of the car.

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who loves structure, clarity and communication. You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Have experience working within an engineering, planning, or operations environment (preferably automotive or motorsport).
• Are highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced, technical setting.
• Understand how to interpret and manage complex technical requirements and translate them into clear operational actions.
• Are comfortable using business systems and tools to manage demand, supply, and workflow (experience with ERP or PLM systems is a bonus).
• Thrive on teamwork, take ownership of your work and are confident communicating across departments.
