Job Title: Production Coordinator
Location: Essex (EN9)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £37,000 starting; upon successful completion of a 6-month probation, salary increases to £40,000

Brook Street is currently working with an exciting Essex based company on a Production Co-ordinator role. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities on site. You will work closely with the Production Manager, yard, transport, and sales office teams to maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track stock and raw materials, conduct inventory audits, and maintain accurate reports of purchases and pricing
  • Support production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely outputs
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to maintain seamless operations
  • Utilize inventory management systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP) to monitor stock and operations
  • Participate in monthly stock takes, which may require working one Saturday per month
  • Respond to machine breakdowns and other operational issues as needed
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, organization, and time management
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Manual dexterity and physical fitness
  • Full driving licence and forklift licence
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Leadership, self-motivation, reliability, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain impartial judgment
  • Team player with excellent organizational and time management abilities
Working Hours and Conditions:
  • Shift between 6am - 4pm (flexibility required based on business needs)
  • Paid 45-minute lunch breaks
  • Stock take once a month (1x Saturday)
  • Time in lieu for overtime worked
