Responsibilities
- Support the video and audio teams with day‑to‑day production logistics.
- Manage digital assets and file transfers, ensuring footage and audio are correctly labelled, archived and backed up.
- Handle metadata entry, maintaining consistent naming conventions and project organisation across editing systems and storage platforms.
- Assist with the ingesting and wrangling of camera footage from location and studio shoots.
- Carry out basic edits, trims and exports under supervision, preparing content for publication on social, audio and digital channels.
- Upload, schedule and publish content across multiple platforms, ensuring correct formats, thumbnails, captions and descriptions are applied.
- Assist in booking talent, contributors, studio space and equipment for shoots and recordings.
- Support producers on set and in the field – setting up kit, managing call sheets and taking production notes.
- Track and update production schedules, deliverables and version histories.
- Work with marketing and editorial teams to distribute finished assets and ensure they reach all relevant channels.
- Maintain internal databases and trackers for ongoing projects and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data and file management.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro for basic editing; familiarity with Photoshop or After Effects is an advantage.
- Understanding of common video formats, codecs and export settings.
- Good knowledge of digital and social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X.
- Confident communicator and team player, comfortable working with multiple departments.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Some experience in a production or media environment (work placement or equivalent) desirable.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings during major racing events.
- A passion for horse racing and sport is a plus, but a keen interest in digital media and storytelling is essential.
