Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Production/CAD CAM Engineer to work in Liverpool in a permanent, full-time role. The successful candidate will engage in both hands-on shopfloor tasks and projects aimed at process improvement within a bespoke pharmaceutical manufacturer. An academic background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in precision manufacturing are essential, along with knowledge of CNC programming and CAD modelling. Overview

Production/CAD CAM Engineer — Liverpool (South East) with commutable options from Liverpool, Widnes, Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington.

Location details, salary information, and benefits are provided by the employer. The role is a permanent position in a clean, modern working environment within a market-leading bespoke pharmaceutical manufacturer with a global presence.

Role
  • Permanent, full time, varied position working in a precision engineering environment for a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Combination of hands-on shopfloor tasks and projects-based process improvement work.
  • Define manufacturing and inspection processes such as CNC & CMM programs and quality investigation plans.
  • Failure investigation and continuous improvement work.
The Person / Qualifications
  • Academic background in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Working understanding of CNC machined products, CAD modelling, CAM programming, Edgecam, G-codes and programming of CMM equipment (as many as possible though some training can be provided).
  • Any metrology knowledge preferred but not essential.
