About the Role

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Assistant Manager to join a fast growing grab and go brand specialising in high quality sandwiches and salads. Working within their central production unit, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining premium standards, and supporting the brand’s ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Production Manager in overseeing day to day production of sandwiches, salads, and grab and go items
  • Help build and implement efficient SOPs and systems to scale production
  • Manage and motivate a growing kitchen team
  • Monitor labour, wastage, and stock to ensure cost control
  • Maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency, and food safety
  • Assist with production planning, forecasting, and supporting new product launches
  • Work closely with the management team to support retail and wholesale growth
About You
  • Previous experience in a high-volume CPU, production kitchen, or fresh food led grab and go environment
  • Strong understanding of balancing volume, quality, and efficiency
  • Hands on leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and operational processes
  • Experience with production planning and stock management is a plus
  • Passionate about premium food and being part of a growing brand
