Production Assistants
Art + Commerce (London, Paris, and New York)

On an ongoing basis, Art + Commerce will review profiles of Production Assistants to support the Hair/Makeup, Styling, and Photography divisions in our London, Paris, and New York offices.

All candidates must be strong communicators with a natural ability to manage a wide range of tasks successfully. Applicants should be self‑motivated, proactive, team players that are highly organized and detailed oriented. Candidates must have proven past relationships with successful working artists of the highest caliber and a strong understanding of the current fashion market.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Providing general support and daily communication to artists, producers, clients, assistants, vendors.
  • Preparing estimates, manage budgets and update options.
  • Updating artist calendars and coordinate all travel for artists and assistants.
  • Managing and updating artist online portfolios.
  • Accounting management, expenses, billing, and wrapping jobs in a timely manner.
  • Managing multiple artists schedules.
  • Attend meetings, shoots, on‑site fashion show production support depending on role.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated passion for photography, art, hair, makeup, styling, fashion, and publishing.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in production, artist management or a related field.
  • Proven experience liaising with artists, producers, and clients in a professional capacity.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and discretion when working with high‑profile clients and artists.
  • Familiarity with key industry professionals, including photographers, stylists, set designers, hair and makeup artists.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and calendar management tools.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to support artists during fashion weeks and photo shoots.
  • Required in‑office presence four days per week, with seasonal travel as necessary.
  • English professional language skills required for all offices. French required for the Paris office and London office, and preferable in the NY office.
