Production Assistant

Working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts: • 6.00am – 2.00pm • 2.00pm – 10.00pm • 10.00pm – 6.00am Pay: £12.67 per hour; £14.57 per hour for night shift. Permanent after a successful temporary period. Immediate start. Free car parking.

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Operative who has experience working in a fast‑paced packing environment. You will be working within the production department based in Corby, Northamptonshire.

Responsibilities
  • Pack products efficiently and accurately ready for dispatch.
  • Inspect products for defects, damages, or discrepancies before packaging.
  • Complete relevant paperwork to company standards.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures and ensure they are always adhered to.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Palletise boxes to quality standards.
  • Identify and communicate any issues or challenges related to the packing process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience as a Production Operative, Production Packer or Production Assistant.
  • Excellent communicator and a real team player who enjoys being part of a busy team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
