Job summary

Mploy Staffing Solutons in Bridport is seeking a motivated Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing team. You will learn to operate sewing machinery, assemble metal components and use computer-based systems, with full on-the-job training.

This diverse role offers practical and computer-based tasks, a Monday to Thursday week, and the chance to develop a broad range of manufacturing skills within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and versatile Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridport.

This is a unique and varied production role that combines practical hands‑on manufacturing with the use of computers and software. The successful candidate will be given full training, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop a range of new skills and build a career within manufacturing.

You will learn to operate sewing machinery, assemble metal components and use computer-based systems, with a strong focus on producing work to the highest standards.

  • Interested in developing new technical and manufacturing skills
  • Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail
  • Reliable, motivated and hardworking
  • Comfortable learning to operate machinery and work with different materials
  • Committed to producing work to a high standard
  • A good team player with a positive attitude

Previous manufacturing or sewing experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. More important is the right attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for developing new skills.
