  • Assist in creating programmes for laser and plasma machines.

  • Print and collate routing sheets and drawings for the Machine Shop.
  • Support team members with general duties.

Job description

As a Production and Planning technician, you will be an integral part of the Production Engineering & Control Team. Your mission? To ensure efficient material allocation and minimise waste while collaborating with Production Supervisors. You'll receive comprehensive training to help you thrive in this role!

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating programmes for laser and plasma machines after training.
  • Plan and manage material allocation effectively.
  • Track material stock and offcut allocation diligently.
  • Load and release shop orders into the MRP system.
  • Print and collate routing sheets and drawings for the Machine Shop.
  • Support team members with general duties to enhance productivity.
What You Bring
  • Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read technical drawings (basic understanding is essential).
  • Proficiency in IT systems, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety principles in a heavy industrial setting.
