AWS Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) seeks a Security Engineer to embed with enterprise customers, securing production AI systems. You will review designs, write tooling, and implement controls across AI/ML pipelines in customer environments.

This hands-on role involves threat modeling, incident response, and building reusable security patterns, with mentorship from senior engineers and tangible security deliverables from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• At least 2+ years in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management or security code review.
• 2+ years troubleshooting, log analysis, and automation tasks with CLI tools.
• 2+ years scripting and security code review in common languages.
• Experience identifying security issues and mitigation plans, and building AI/agentic systems.

Aufgaben

• Conduct security design reviews, code reviews, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
• Perform threat modeling and pentesting for AI/ML apps in customer environments.
• Build and maintain security automation: scanning tools, CI/CD gates, guardrail tests.
• Implement security controls for AI-specific threats and data isolation.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis for FDE-delivered systems.
• Document findings and create reusable playbooks and runbooks.
• Contribute to the security accelerator library and reference configurations.
• Travel up to 25%.
