  • Monitor regulatory requirements (e.g., EPR, Waste, EUDR, CBAM) and support the business in understanding and responding to relevant requirements, including accurate tax calculations and submissions.
  • Own engagement with some of our partners such as BCI, ZDHC and help determine key priorities and implementation actions for River Island
  • Support collaborative cross functional workstreams internally and externally with suppliers, and customers to develop engaging decarbonisation plans.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives through stakeholder engagement and data insight.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sustainability goals with business strategy. Deliver data in different formats across the business and supply chain
  • Train and support suppliers in sustainability data collection and reporting processes aligning them with both the sustainability and supplier strategies.
  • Use data analysis to identify improvement actions and drive progress against sustainability strategy.
  • Contribute to other sustainability, data and reporting projects as required, in line with evolving business priorities.

Skills:

  • Strong background in data analysis and reporting, with expertise in Excel (including pivot tables, macros), PowerQuery, and PowerBI.

  • Analytical and logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a drive to improve data accuracy, reliability and progress
  • Background in sustainability with a good understanding of sustainable product and retail ways of working
  • Able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and flex across multiple projects. Confident in managing deadlines and conversations independently
