Job summary

Genomics England is seeking a Product Security Engineer to embed security into delivery across engineering squads and product teams. You will help shift security left, implement security testing in CI/CD, and guide secure design and development from the outset.

The role bridges central security with delivery teams, translating policies into practical engineering practices and supporting threat modelling and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cyber security engineering and risk-based decision making.
• Experience embedding security into software development and shift‑left practices.
• Ability to review architectures, designs and troubleshoot security issues.
