Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting and rare opportunity for a Product Safety Advisor on a 12‑14 month contract to support and advise on General Merchandise, Christmas ranges, and Licensed Products. You will work closely with our Buying team, Licensing team, and Licensees, ensuring products consistently meet legal requirements and Games Workshop's Product Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Uncompromising and diligent in your approach, you will manage product safety through clearly communicating a set of cohesive policies, standards, and documents that licensees adhere to. You will also be involved in the evaluation and testing of samples to support your own categories and the wider Games Workshop product range, safeguarding our interests through detailed checks and balances. Your role will include maintaining and developing a framework of processes that demonstrate regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality, and providing the necessary documentation to prove it. You will proactively monitor and interpret new regulations and regulatory trends, incorporating this into company requirements across existing and new markets. Collaboration is key; you will foster positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external teams, taking challenges on board promptly, relaying feedback clearly, and reaching effective solutions.

Qualifications

If you have experience in a product development or technical role in hard goods or children’s products, compliance, or product testing, and want to develop your knowledge across product categories and global markets, you are encouraged to apply today.

Benefits

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), a matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, a profit share bonus (subject to Games Workshop meeting profit targets), option to join our Share Save scheme, and a staff discount between 25% and 50% on Games Workshop products.
