Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements across a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will own quality initiatives, read engineering drawings, investigate issues and implement corrective actions, with potential to grow into leadership of a small team.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and service teams, manage supplier performance, and support audits and ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in high-tech manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, 8D, supplier audits, ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and service teams.
• Lead supplier quality initiatives and audits.
• Travel to UK-based suppliers about once every three weeks.
