The role blends photography and early-stage graphic-design development, with a clear path to broader design support.

You will shoot standard white-background images, close-ups and 360° visuals using our Orbitvu system, while collaborating with marketing to improve online conversions.

Responsibilities

• Operate Orbitvu 360° photography system and capture product imagery.
• Produce white-background product images for web and marketplaces.

• Light and stage products to ensure colour accuracy and branding.
• Edit and retouch images in Photoshop.
• Optimise images for web use and file naming.

Permanent: Part-time | Office-based

Salary: £27k (based on full-time)

UK Planet Tools Ltd is looking for a skilled and detail-focusedProduct Photographerto support our growing e-commerce business. This role is focused on producing high-quality product imagery for ourwebsite, marketplaces (including Amazon and eBay), email campaigns, and social media. You will be responsible for capturing clean, accurate and informative visuals that help customers make confident buying decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong product photography experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in developing further intographic designover time. You will be responsible for photographing a wide range of products, including standard white-background e-commerce imagery, detailed feature shots, and360° photography using our Orbitvu system.

Beyond taking clean product photos, this role plays an important part in improving the customer buying experience. You will help create visuals that answer customer questions, highlight important product details, and support stronger online conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage ourOrbitvu 360° photography system
• Produce cleanwhite-background e-commerce product images
• Capturedetailed close-upsand key feature shots
• Createlifestyle / in-use photographywhen required
• Prepare, stage and light a variety of products using strong practical judgement
• Ensurecolour accuracyandbrand consistency
• Create imagery that supports an informed buying experience and highlights important product features
• Anticipate customer needs through useful, informative visuals
• Edit and retouch images inAdobe Photoshop
• Optimise images for web use, including size, compression and naming conventions
• Maintain studio equipment and support efficient studio workflow
• Work closely with themarketing and design team

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge ofDSLR or mirrorless camera systems
• Experience usingOrbitvuor a similar automated360° photography systemis preferred
• Strong understanding ofstudio lighting
• Proficiency inAdobe Photoshop
• Good understanding of how strong product imagery supports customer decision-making
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to handle high product volumes while maintaining quality
• Organised and able to manage deadlines effectively
