Job summary

Objectway, a global fintech software provider, is seeking a Product Owner for its UK team (London or Birmingham). You will work with implementation consultants, translate business requirements into product specs, and manage backlogs and user stories across the full development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics or IT, 5+ years in wealth/asset management, proven experience in digital solutions, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in (Business) Economics or IT, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong ability to abstract and to translate business requirements in IT.
• At least 5 years’ experience within the wealth/asset management sector with at least one of the following: creation of functional analyses based upon a high-level scope definition; application(s) with a 3-tier development structure.
• Experience in managing projects focused on digital solutions, processes and/or digital products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with implementation consultants documenting, deploying and configuring the solution on customer sites.
• Fulfil the role of product consultant/SME to support customer implementations and internal engineering.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications detailing enhancements.
• Gather requirements for new features to extend the core product.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the product and customers.
• Manage the backlog and define user stories.
• Participate in full development lifecycle from requirements to testing and documentation.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including RFIs, demos and presentations.
• Collaborate with development and QA to deliver high-quality software on time and budget.
• Act as a key contact with customers and organize status meetings.
• Handle customer calls and incidents with involved parties.
• Monitor adoption and report satisfaction to management.
