Job summary

TRL is a world-leading provider of software and services for transport and mobility sectors. We seek a high-calibre Product Owner to join our team in a hybrid UK role, driving backlog, shaping requirements and representing the voice of the customer.

Collaborate with product, design and engineering to deliver impactful software, write user stories, participate in Agile ceremonies, and travel within the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years' experience in traffic engineering, transport tech or operational software.
• 4+ years in a product-focused role (Product Owner, BA, Product Manager).
• Experience with complex B2B software, UTC systems or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to shape requirements, manage roadmaps and present ideas clearly.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Refine product strategies and roadmap initiatives with the Product Growth team.
• Define and prioritise a clear backlog; write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers to gather feedback.
• Create product-related content and support commercial bids.
