Job Title: Product Owner - Retail Media Platform

Overview

Our client, a leading UK-based retail organisation is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the ongoing development and optimisation of a newly launched Retail Media Order Management System (OMS). This platform, built on Salesforce and customised from Advendio, supports the end-to-end process of booking and activating Retail Media campaigns across multiple retail brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a cross-functional DevOps team (Delivery Lead, Business Analyst, Developer, Service Support).
  • Manage and triage incoming platform support requests (via ServiceNow).
  • Prioritise and maintain a backlog of enhancements and build a roadmap for future development (Product 2.0).
  • Act as the strategic owner of the platform, setting direction and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the platform, supporting business users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and platform adoption.
Platform Capabilities

The OMS platform includes:

  • Business CRM functionality
  • Sales pipeline and revenue reporting
  • Booking confirmation (via DocuSign)
  • Campaign briefing and activation workflows
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in media, retail, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Retail Media or Order Management Systems.
  • Experience working with Salesforce-based platforms or similar SaaS tools.
  • Confident self-starter with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on optimisation and growth.
