Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced technology Product Owner to join our Business Technology Solutions team focusing on Marketing and Sales solutions. The Product Owner will lead the development and enhancement of technology solutions that optimize commercial operations and drive business growth.

Major Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy
    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and product delivery roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements.
  • Understand both data and technology capabilities already in use across the organization and recommend appropriate application within the product portfolio.
  • Product Development
    • Lead the agile development process working closely with cross‑functional teams including IT, commercial operations, and marketing.
    • Develop comprehensive estimates and development timelines by soliciting input and collecting feedback from all impacted stakeholders.
    • Work across business functions to negotiate and secure the availability of resources and budget to meet the demands.
    • Manage and supervise vendor project teams and internal resources to deliver technology product evolution on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
    • Analyze product performance data and make data‑driven decisions for improvements.
  • Problem Solving
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address technical challenges and ensure solutions are scalable and robust.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or a related field.
    • Advanced degree or certification in Product Management, Agile methodologies or related areas is a plus.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT product management or a related field.
    • Understanding/expertise in definition and implementation of digital strategies for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of CRM and sales enablement business processes and supporting technology solutions.
    • Proven experience in CRM platforms like Veeva and Salesforce.
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
    • Proven track record of effective project (workstream) leadership and positive results.
    • Exposure to capabilities such as Marketing Automation, Event Management, Case Management, Identity Management is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
    • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Other
    • Ability to work effectively in a global matrixed environment.
    • Ability to self‑manage time and priorities.
    • Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve end‑user experience.
    • Willingness to travel as needed (10-15%).
