Job summary

Animal & Plant Health Agency is seeking a Product Owner to join the Project Delivery and Portfolio Management team in Bristol. You will engage with industry bodies, NGOs and other delivery bodies to shape policy and projects that support international trade and long-term impact.

You will collaborate with the Digital Programme Manager, Senior Product Manager and SMEs, helping to design and implement new ways of working and IT systems that meet UK trade needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and build effective relationships with policy customer groups involved in the EU-NI Borders and Trade programme.
• Work with the Digital Programme Manager, Senior Product Manager and SMEs to share responsibilities in the development of new ways of working.
• Help safeguard GB's reputation by supporting activity across areas impacted by the Animals and Plants International Trade Platforms.
• Support design, development and implementation of policy initiatives and reforms on project teams and working groups.
• Assist in developing fit-for-purpose Animal and Plants IT systems and processes to facilitate trade for UK importers and traders.
