Join us as a Product Owner

Our Deposits mission is to empower planners and savers to make their money work harder for them.

What you\'ll do

Working in partnership with your engineers and designer, you will:

  • Be an evangelist for our customers and their needs.
  • Define the best customer and client journeys and channels for our Deposits products with a focus on our white label journeys.
  • Build the best overall picture for your assigned product areas, based on robust research and user testing, and be the go-to person for information and progress updates.
  • Obsess about conversion and metrics for your product to be competitive in the embedded retail market.
  • Work across a wide set of stakeholders within NatWest Boxed, NatWest Bank and external clients to negotiate constraints and gain support to deliver brilliant Deposits solutions that meet the customer and client needs, while remaining within regulatory and risk approved appetite.
  • Manage your product backlog and prioritise features based on customer and market needs.
  • Work with your engineering manager to set objectives for sprints ensuring the quality of output, whilst balancing a view across risk, regulatory compliance, business, client, commercial and good customer outcomes.
  • Comfortable developing comprehensive collateral and documentation for both internal and external consumption.
  • Break epics into detailed user stories and feature specifications for your squad to develop to.
The skills you’ll need
  • Passion for customers and a problem solving mentality, with proven ability to conduct customer research, map out customer journeys and identify novel opportunities to build on and optimise channel journeys.
  • Strong technical knowledge when it comes to designing front end experiences with enough technical knowledge to work closely with engineers, architects and the APIs that enable our front end channels and products.
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive channel strategy, helping shape and drive our front end product direction.
  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building and collaboration skills.
It would be great if you also had
  • Experience working across SaaS products.
  • Experience working across Financial Services including savings or current account products.
  • Experience with user-centred design principles and methodologies.
