The Product Owner – Audit Tools & Techniques (ATTs) is responsible for the business-as-usual ownership, governance and oversight of audit technology solutions once they have completed delivery from Audit Transformation. The role sits within Audit Quality Support and is accountable for ensuring that ATTs and other licensed audit tools remain compliant, effectively governed, appropriately controlled and aligned to audit methodology and regulatory requirements. The role ensures that tools are not only available, but remain relevant, well-managed and fully embedded within audit delivery through robust governance, clear ownership and effective stakeholder coordination. A key focus is maintaining strong control over licence management, supplier relationships, usage monitoring and documentation, ensuring that risks are managed, obligations are met and audit teams are supported with clear and consistent guidance.
Success will be demonstrated through strong ownership and governance of ATTs, ensuring tools remain compliant, well-managed and aligned to audit requirements. This includes effective control of licences and suppliers, clear and up-to-date documentation, strong stakeholder engagement and continued confidence from audit teams and quality functions. The role will ensure that audit technology is not only deployed, but sustainably managed and embedded within the firm’s control environment.
