Job summary

LekeeLekee seeks a Product Manager to own the telephony service (voice, video, PSTN dial-out) from day one, focusing on cost, quality, growth and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with the calling engineering team and report to the Chief Product Officer.

Drive carrier relations and product growth, shaping features like voicemail and voice-bot routing, with a global, follow-the-sun stance across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

• 4–8 years product management; at least one shipped telecoms, comms or contact-centre product.

Job description

LekeeLekee Calling voice, video, PSTN dial-out is live. We need a PM to own the telephony service from day one of operation: cost, quality, growth, regulation.

Phase 1 Immersion

• Embed with support calls are the ticket type with the highest emotional load. Learn the patterns
• Embed with compliance NCC, lawful intercept obligations, recording / consent policy in NG and EU
• Sit alongside the existing calling engineering team Agora layer, the FreeSWITCH / Twilio PSTN path, the signalling stack
• Walk every part of a call lifecycle setup, in-call quality, drop, callback both 1:1 and group

Phase 2 PM, Telephony

• Quality: own MOS scores, drop rate, jitter, time-to-connect hold the standard against vendor performance
• Cost: own the per-minute PSTN line item; negotiate provider rates; introduce smart routing where it pays back
• Coverage: decide which destination countries / NPAs we serve, with what pricing; build the carrier matrix
• Regulation: stay ahead of NCC and EU rules on call recording, retention and lawful access
• Product growth: voicemail, call transfer, queues, voice-bot routing the next chapter beyond plain dial-out

Reports to: Chief Product Officer. Delivery partner: Vice Chairman.

Who we are looking for

• 4–8 years product management; at least one shipped telecoms, comms or contact-centre product
• Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, WebRTC and the PSTN economics that sit underneath
• Comfort with regulator language NCC licensing, EU eCommunications obligations, lawful intercept
• Operationally calm calls failing is a customer-on-the-phone problem, not a JIRA problem
• Remote, with London or Lagos available for the right candidate; we are global in outlook and run a follow-the-sun rotation across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America
