As a Senior Product Manager in Digital Product Engineering, you'll leverage your extensive product management and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence within our organization. Responsibilities
  • Define and articulate product vision, strategy, goals, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the broader public sector objectives.
  • Employ excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, project teams, functional managers, and specialists from various areas (digital, operations, policy, legal, etc.), to build consensus, manage expectations, and facilitate effective decision-making and prioritization.
  • Create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and oversee the ongoing evolution of the product roadmap and management of the product backlog.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, integrating user needs and considering both business and technical considerations/constraints to drive product development.
  • Lead the team in delivering products and services in line with the public sector's specific requirements and regulations.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team's progress, ensuring smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation within the team.
  • Collaborate with other product owners, stakeholders, and scrum masters to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in product management, including defining and articulating product vision, strategy, goals, and roadmap.
  • Masterful proficiency in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, project teams, functional managers, and specialists from various areas.
  • Proven track record of building consensus, managing expectations, and facilitating effective decision‑making and prioritization.
  • Experience in leading and working within multidisciplinary teams, considering both business and technical considerations/constraints.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong foundation in Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data management.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • You must be a resident in the UK and have been living continuously in the UK for the last 10 years.
  • You must be able to hold or gain a UK government security clearance.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data management.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
