How We Work

As a Product Manager, Payment Network Expansion & Integrations, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace
  • Company-issued equipment
  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Bank and Payment Rail Integrations

  • Owning assigned integrations from discovery and requirements through engineering delivery, testing, certification, launch and post-launch stabilisation.

  • Defining payment lifecycle coverage, including initiation, validation, acknowledgements, status reporting, returns, rejects, reconciliation and settlement.
  • Working with Engineering and Architecture to select effective integration approaches and reduce unnecessary partner-specific complexity.
  • Driving partner testing and certification, managing defects and dependencies to closure, and maintaining visibility of delivery status, risks, required decisions and target dates.

Product Requirements and Payment Flows

  • Understanding partner capabilities, message formats, API and SWIFT specifications, operating models, limits and service expectations.
  • Defining standard payment flows, exceptions and operational edge cases, including delayed acknowledgements, duplicate messages, failed payments and reconciliation breaks.
  • Incorporating payment party data, compliance controls, routing, funding, settlement and reconciliation requirements into integration designs.
  • Validating that requirements are complete, testable and aligned with Corpay product, technical and operational standards.
  • Maintaining documentation of payment flows, message mappings, assumptions, decisions and known limitations.

Cross Functional Delivery

  • Working with Engineering squads through design, build and testing, including refinement, sprint planning and delivery reviews.
  • Coordinating Treasury, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Client Services and external banking partners to resolve dependencies and unblock delivery.
  • Identifying problems early, explaining their impact, and driving timely decisions and escalation with clear recommendations.
  • Establishing explicit ownership across Corpay and external partners throughout delivery, certification and launch, including teams in different time zones.

Operational Readiness and Resilience

  • Establishing monitoring, alerting, support processes, operational ownership and escalation paths before go-live.
  • Working with Operations to define business-as-usual processes for payment status, returns, exceptions, reconciliation and client support.
  • Validating operational and reconciliation reporting, and ensuring manual workarounds are understood, controlled and minimised.
  • Supporting go-live readiness reviews and confirming product, technical, operational and partner launch criteria are met.
  • Using post-launch performance, incidents and feedback to identify and deliver improvements.

Reusable Connectivity and Portfolio Support

  • Applying established integration patterns, requirements templates and delivery playbooks, and reusing platform capabilities where a common solution is viable.
  • Capturing lessons and improving product standards, documentation, testing and launch processes.
  • Defining and tracking delivery predictability, time to certification, time to live, reliability and exception rates for assigned integrations.
  • Providing credible input to portfolio planning, prioritisation, capacity discussions and stakeholder reporting.
  • Supporting the Lead Product Manager in establishing consistent delivery standards and portfolio visibility, while understanding how each integration supports the wider network and customer proposition.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of product management or product delivery experience within payments, banking infrastructure or financial technology.
  • Practical experience delivering bank, payment rail, clearing, scheme or processor integrations.
