The Product Manager operates at the crossroads of science, technology, and business—contributing to solutions that set industry standards and collaborating with leading global biopharma organizations. Your passion for data-driven science and expertise in mass spectrometry will help ensure each release delivers exceptional value to our customers.

You’ll work within an international team of scientists, business specialists, and developers to advance a best‑in‑class platform widely adopted across the industry.

This position reports to the head of Product Manager team, is part of the Genedata Expressionist, and is fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to
  • Engage with global biopharma customers: Capture critical needs and translate them into actionable, clear software requirements.
  • Consolidate and prioritize requirements: Gather diverse inputs from customers and internal stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, and ensure the most critical needs drive development decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering: Turn prioritized requirements into functional specifications, support design and planning, and clarify requests through prototype reviews.
  • Drive development streams: Ensure timely delivery by gathering feedback and refining iterations.
  • Partner with sales and scientific support: Position new capabilities and assist in go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to product vision and strategy: Support alignment with business goals and represent the Product Management team across the organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of mass spectrometry applied to biopharmaceutical characterization and development.
  • Product Management Experience: Proven track record in enterprise software product management or related roles.
  • Customer Engagement: Strong customer-facing skills with experience leading requirement workshops and influencing stakeholders.
  • Requirements Analysis: Hands‑on experience translating business needs into software development specifications.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP) and compliance considerations.Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities to engage scientists, business stakeholders, and engineers.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with R&D, commercial, and engineering teams.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of software architecture concepts such as API design and lifecycle management.
