Overview

Location: remote

The Product Manager for HCS is a global role responsible for innovation and growth of our cellular imaging business. Leads the strategy and roadmap for our market leading HCS product portfolio, including definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Drives the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Consolidates broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing, and sales to enhance the in vivo software portfolio and the overall in vivo portfolio. Leads new product definition and business plans within cellular imaging product management team and joint departments.

The candidate should be a dynamic thinker, have demonstrated ability to translate business goals into well-defined performance plans and projects for his/her organization and cross-functional partners, be results driven and shown urgency for achieving goals. Track record for success in product management or sales in the HCS market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defines HCS software, hardware and workflow strategy and roadmap.
  • Translates customer needs into solution requirements.
  • Strong collaboration with R&D and software development to deliver product roadmap and provide continuous customer-centric value add capabilities.
  • Provides planning, project management support and sales training for product launches.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to support market research, customer and field communications as well as development of analytics to support decision making.
  • Keeping close to the market trends and assess viability of new technologies.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders across the globe.
  • Monitors competitive landscape, aligning strategy and tactics to drive growth.
  • Cross functional partnering for problem solving with our customers, operations, quality, sales, etc. Aid to remove any barriers to growing business sales and expanding the portfolio.
  • Drive continuous improvement processes cross functionally to drive top line growth, margin improvement and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications
  • The individual will have a degree in a technical discipline, ideally in the sciences.
  • A minimum of 5 years of life science product management or sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of prior experience working in R&D, commercial leadership and/or Product Management to develop and launch such products
  • Proven business leadership skills with 10 years between Product Management, Strategy, or Commercial, preferably in Life Sciences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that meet business and customer needs
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, decision making, communication and influencing skills
  • Must be able to accomplish results in a cross-functional team environment, exhibiting formal and informal leadership skills, strong goal / results orientation and strong communication skills
