Overview

This is your opportunity to shape NEC Housing products and guide customers toward best practices. Future growth and progression within the Product Team or wider business await the successful candidate.

Location: The role is based remotely in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Estonia.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to understand legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends, as well as evolving market drivers.
  • Become the subject matter expert in your product area, providing guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers through co-design workshops, user groups, and meetings to capture insights and shape requirements.
  • Define customer business needs and objectives to ensure NEC Housing products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Create requirements, user stories, and wireframes for new developments, working closely with development and QA teams to deliver solutions that achieve customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Technical Authors to produce and review product documentation.
  • Build business cases including market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
  • Identify and manage any third-party requirements, liaising with suppliers and integrators as needed.
  • Define and maintain the roadmap for your product area(s).
  • Support Pre-Sales and Sales teams with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to product launch activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience in UK Social Housing, either as a customer or software solution provider.
  • Strong knowledge of project life cycle, methodologies, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
  • Experience with housing management systems or related software.
  • Experience working with Document Management, Case Management and/or Customer Engagement solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Full, valid UK/EC driving licence for travel.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required. All offers are subject to satisfactory vetting and reference checks. Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
