About The Position

As a Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product by combining technical acumen, user insight, and market analysis to guide the roadmap and execution. You’ll ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience that enables our customers to focus on care, not software. Through data‑driven research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, you’ll uncover opportunities for innovation and differentiation, helping TherapyNotes continue to evolve as the best‑in‑class EHR and practice management solution across behavioral health and beyond.

What You’ll Do
  • Product Strategy & Vision:
    • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with TherapyNotes’ company goals.
    • Synthesize business objectives, user insights, and market opportunities into a data‑informed, prioritized roadmap.
    • Identify opportunities for competitive differentiation through innovation and exceptional user experience.
  • Execution & Delivery:
    • Manage product launches end‑to‑end, from ideation through release and adoption.
    • Partner closely with engineering, product owners, design, and QA to deliver high‑quality features and improvements.
    • Write clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Monitor feature performance and user feedback post‑release to ensure continuous improvement and measurable impact.
  • Customer Insight & Understanding:
    • Advocate for user experience excellence across all areas of the product.
    • Combine qualitative and quantitative insights, including usage data, customer feedback, and research, to inform decisions.
    • Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within healthcare and SaaS.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership:
    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value and user impact.
    • Align product, design, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams around a unified vision and set of priorities.
    • Communicate decisions and trade‑offs with clarity and transparency, ensuring technical and business teams stay in sync.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience as a software product manager, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral health SaaS industry.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Proven ability to manage evolving projects from concept through launch, with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Curiosity and empathy for users, with experience conducting research such as interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform product direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, comfort with data‑driven decision‑making, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data‑driven personalization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with a track record of working effectively across engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
  • Comfortable taking end‑to‑end responsibility for one or more product areas in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
