Job Description

Product Manager is a newly redefined role that will take on end‑to‑end ownership of individual product offerings within our product portfolio. This position presents a unique opportunity to drive innovation in our existing and new products, aligned to Fastmarkets’ strategic goals.

As a key contributor in our cross‑functional squads, you will collaborate closely with Tech, Data, and Design contributors, ensuring that your insights and expertise shape the development process and our commercial propositions. If you are passionate about driving product excellence and eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to inform product strategy and roadmap development, working closely with the Product Director.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Analyse complex data sets to extract actionable insights. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and make informed recommendations for improvements.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with the company’s vision and objectives. Utilize strategic thinking to prioritise initiatives effectively.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and content (editorial, analytics) teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Foster open communication to align on goals and deliverables.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to validate product concepts and gather insights on user needs and pain points.
  • Problem Solving: Employ creative problem‑solving skills to address challenges throughout the product lifecycle. Innovate solutions that enhance user experience and product functionality.
  • Leadership & Initiative: Lead cross‑functional teams by motivating members and driving alignment towards common objectives. Take initiative to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Forecasting & Measurement: Develop forecasts for product direction based on market analysis. Measure progress against goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success.
