Product Manager
About the Role
As the Product Manager for the Exterior range, you will be responsible for managing and developing a selection of products. You will support new business opportunities, enhance product profitability, and ensure the portfolio consistently performs to and ideally exceeds commercial targets. This position offers a great blend of analytical work, product development, cross-functional collaboration, and small-team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and take full ownership of selected products within the Exterior portfolio to achieve profitability and NPD targets.
- Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and technical improvement.
- Drive simplification and reduce business complexity where possible.
- Develop new designs, colours, and structures aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Enhance overall product finish and performance through continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate NPD&I projects, including business case development for investment.
- Provide detailed product performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Build strong internal partnerships across technical, sales, and marketing functions.
- Coordinate marketing trials, proofing, colour matching, and standardisation activities.
- Support the sales team with customer visits, opportunity evaluation, and ongoing communication.
- Understand customer needs and identify market trends to guide new product introductions.
- Lead small teams in problem-solving and project management activities.
- Contribute to wider strategic initiatives and business OKRs.
- Deliver product training and support for internal departments.
About You
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing qualification desirable).
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in product performance and improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience working with customers in a commercial environment (desirable).
- Comfortable leading small project teams.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and driving results.
- Digitally capable, customer-oriented, and able to adapt to change.
