A recruitment agency specializing in beauty and cosmetics is seeking an experienced Account Manager/Project Coordinator to manage client relationships and coordinate product launches. The role requires a background in the beauty/cosmetics industry, excellent project management skills, and a relationship-focused approach. This is a 12-month contract covering maternity leave, expected to transition into a permanent role. The position involves working in the office four days a week with remote work on Fridays.

Disrupt agency are working with an amazing cosmetic / beauty manufacturer to source a beauty / Cosmetics / personal care industry experienced Account Manager / Project coordinator on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave. (starting ideally around July 2024.)
The account manager is a key hire who can manage key client relationships and coordinate (project manage) the launch of new cosmetic / beauty / personal care products to market.
This is very much a customer service / relationship management and project management role where you will show credibility and build trust to win projects where you will then face off with and manage client requirements / needs / concerns and expectations in the launch of new / improved beauty / cosmetic products to market.
You will also face off with and build relationships internally with all business stakeholders across all relevant divisions and touch points to launch cosmetic / personal care / beauty products. These will include the likes of sourcing, packaging, Product development, technical, marketing plus more.
This role is a critical hire for initially on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and is expected to move into a full time permanent role longer term.
Due to the nature of the role and the need to meet / speak and engage with key stakeholders within the business it will require you to be in the office 4 days per week with 1 day working remotely.
You will also get to travel to customer / client sites around the UK (usually 1 day per week and typically this is in or near London). All expenses are taken care of for travel.
