We’ve been safeguarding people’s financial futures since 1836, and strive to build a better society, while improving the lives of our customers and creating value for shareholders.

We are one of the world’s largest asset managers and provide powerful asset origination capabilities. Together, these underpin our retirement and protection solutions: we are an international player in pension risk transfer, in UK and US life insurance, and in UK workplace pensions and retirement income.

Our global asset management business provides our clients and partners with complex, responsible investment solutions, working internationally across public and private markets.

Job Description

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about investment governance? We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative individual to join our Workplace Savings Product team. In this role, you’ll help ensure our fund propositions remain compliant, customer-focused and aligned with our strategic goals. You’ll work across teams, contribute to governance reporting, and support the delivery of high-quality investment oversight.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting the management and closure of Workplace Savings funds in line with governance processes
  • Demonstrating up-to-date knowledge of fund propositions and regulatory developments
  • Carrying out data reporting and investment oversight, including responsible investment metrics
  • Updating internal systems with fund changes and reporting outputs
  • Supporting governance activities across internal service provisions
  • Producing materials for board and committee meetings on investment-related matters
  • Reviewing customer and adviser literature to meet Consumer Duty requirements
  • Managing risks in partnership with operational teams and maintaining accurate records
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
  • Experience working within a provider, asset manager or employee benefits consultancy

  • Understanding of corporate client needs and investment governance
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence working with data and reporting systems
  • Willingness to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
  • Interest in working towards relevant professional or project management qualifications
Benefits
  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance‑related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution

  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand‑new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart
