Porsche Retail Group are one of the world’s most iconic brands and are seeking an automotive Product Expert / Sales Specialist for this prestigious Reading car dealership. This state of art newly refurbished showroom is the first of its kind in the UK and will open fully in July. The Porsche Centre has an onsite restaurant, coffee bar, parking, walking distance to multiple shops including Ikea, Sainsburys, Boots, Prue Gym and is located on the same site as the Company’s UK head office.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a full UK driving licence and be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes when driving our client’s full range of products.

About the Role

As a Product Expert / Sales Specialist, you will report to the General Sales Manager and provide existing and prospective customers with product information, providing insight into Company Product and Services to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Core Specific Responsibilities

As Product Expert / Sales Specialist you will be the Centre expert and the first point of contact for all Customer queries in any medium regarding the usage and function of company products, including, but not limited to:

• Car Connect (PCC), Telematics, Apple Car Play, Personalisation Options, Vehicle Products and Features
• Pro-actively offer every customer a second hand-over either in person or through a digital platform
• Work closely with Centre colleagues to provide an excellent vehicle collection hand-over service for customers.
• Support the Porsche Centre with marketing activities including taking stock images, attending events and working with the Marketing Department to generate inspiring content for social media
• Ensure all Centre staff are up to date on the latest product information and supporting the Centre with electrification, being the ‘electrification champion’
• Develop a good knowledge and understanding of all competitor products and dealerships in order to provide better insight to customers
• Pro-actively approach customers in the showroom to discuss product information and offer help / advice and demonstrate vehicle options
• Fully maintain accurate data relating to customers as appropriate.
• Assist with showroom preparation including vehicles, merchandise and displays.

About You

To be successful for the role of Product Expert / Sales Specialist, you will need to have or be:

• A full UK driving licence
• Over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
• Previous experience working in a customer facing role, ideally within sales or retail
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbally and written
• Excellent IT skills

About the rewards
