Overview

Established Tour Operator in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Travel Product Executive or Travel Sales Consultant to join their growing product development team. The role will work partly from the Warwickshire office and partly remotely. The company prides itself on offering expert tips and advice, with in‑depth local knowledge, to turn inspiration into bespoke holidays ideally suited to each customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the product portfolio, including distribution systems, pricing and yield, commercial relations and delivery of offers.

Responsibilities
  • Source and promote new offers and content for use via promotional material, mailshots and other channels.
  • Keep updated on the latest internal and external products and offers.
  • Monitor sales and recommend proactive business decisions to drive product sales.
  • Identify training requirements within the business and deliver appropriate documentation to address knowledge gaps.
  • Provide basic technical support, working with third‑party technical suppliers to log, monitor and resolve issues.
  • Assist in defining future commercial opportunities and plan, coordinate and deliver new product development projects.
  • Load, check and manage hotel contracts in the stock system.
  • Ensure the existing product range meets the evolving requirements of the business.
  • Assist with departmental tasks and business opportunities that may arise on an ad‑hoc basis.
  • Perform an ambassadorial role for the company in relation to all external contacts and, where appropriate, take a lead role in commercial negotiations with suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Travel industry experience is essential.
  • Travel Product Executive or similar experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience dealing with travel systems.
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm to learn.
  • Professional level of customer service skills, with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Flexible approach to managing time and tasks.
Package

Competitive basic salary of up to £28 k plus commission, working Monday to Friday. Full‑time, permanent role. Hybrid working – office and remote. The company offers incentives, discounts and a low staff turnover due to its friendly working environment.
