You will guide technical roadmap decisions, mentor engineers, and design resilient streaming systems where performance impacts execution.

The role requires leading real-time systems design with a focus on low latency, scalability, and security in a fast-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a technical leadership seat.
• Experience designing data-intensive, real-time systems.
• Fluency in TypeScript, React, Node.js; backend in Go or Python.
• Strong production infra, CI/CD, observability, and security (OWASP).

Responsibilities

• Act as the ultimate technical authority for client and internal trading platforms, owning architectural direction from system design to production deployment.
• Design and scale real-time, low-latency streaming architectures handling massive data volumes, live pricing feeds, and order execution interfaces.
• Co-own the technical roadmap alongside product and trading leadership, balancing rapid feature iteration with institutional-grade reliability.
• Establish engineering standards across code review, CI/CD, incident response, CDN distribution, and authn/authz security protocols.
• Mentor, hire, and set the performance bar for a team of full-stack, frontend, and backend engineers.

The role

One of the world's leading algorithmic market makers in digital assets, trading billions daily across centralized, decentralized, and OTC markets. The firm pairs the latency standards and mathematical rigor of high-frequency trading with the autonomy and speed of a lean, high-growth startup.

You will serve as the technical authority and mini-CTO for the product engineering team, owning architecture and technology choices across client-facing portals, live trading products, and internal tooling. This is not an ivory-tower architect seat or a purely administrative manager track. You will actively guide technical roadmap decisions, mentor full-stack engineers, and design resilient, low-latency streaming systems where poor performance directly impacts execution.

The work

• Act as the ultimate technical authority for client and internal trading platforms, owning architectural direction from system design to production deployment.
• Design and scale real-time, low-latency streaming architectures handling massive data volumes, live pricing feeds, and order execution interfaces.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership seat owning architecture decisions.
• Proven experience designing and shipping data-intensive, real-time systems such as trading dashboards, live market feeds, or order management systems.
• Deep technical fluency across TypeScript, React, and Node.js, backed by solid backend depth in Node.js, Go, or Python with event-driven architectures, WebSockets, and message queues.
• Rigorous standards around production infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and web application security (OWASP, authn/authz), ideally within trading or fintech.
