Job summary

Dex's trusted partner company in London is seeking a hands-on backend/frontend engineer to own a high-scale autonomous agent platform. You will build core infrastructure with founders, shipping across TypeScript, Go, and PostgreSQL in production environments.

You will work in-person five days a week in London, driving end-to-end ownership from scope to deployment, and shaping a pragmatic product vision without a dedicated PM. This role blends systems engineering with early-stage startup velocity.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience shipping complex, production-grade systems across backend, frontend, and database, with verifiable end-to-end ownership.
  • Deep full-stack engineering proficiency in TypeScript (NestJS, Next.js) or Go on PostgreSQL.
  • Product judgment to define scope, design UX, and make trade-offs independently without relying on a product manager.
  • In-person presence five days a week in London, with the drive to build at early-stage startup pace and a trajectory toward becoming a technical founder.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and operate autonomous agent systems capable of sustaining unattended, multi-month relationships with creators with robust state, memory, and recovery handling.
  • Build creator scoring and evaluation pipelines running at internet scale across an infrastructure fleet tuned to handle model rate limits and provider latency.
  • Design and ship dynamic negotiation systems that execute live commercial agreements against strict brand budget constraints.
  • Close the loop between attribution and inference by streaming real-time sales, clicks, and message sentiment back into agent decision layers.
  • Ship across TypeScript, Go, and PostgreSQL daily, taking full ownership of backend services, client-facing workflows, and underlying data models.

Job description

This role is with one of Dex's trusted partner companies. We work closely with their teams to truly understand their culture, goals, and what they're looking for, so we can match you with the right opportunity and give you context about the role before you commit to a process.

The role

Most creator marketing remains bottlenecked by human agency teams grinding through manual outreach. This London-based startup is replacing that operational layer with autonomous AI agents that discover, brief, negotiate with, and reward creators at scale for top-tier tech brands. Backed by leading European venture funds and monetised on real advertising performance, their agents already run tens of thousands of commercial conversations each month.

You will own the affiliate management agent end-to-end, responsible for turning one-off creator posts into persistent, multi-month brand partnerships. This is product engineering in the truest sense: you determine the scope, build across the full stack, and run the system in production against real marketing budgets. It is not an LLM wrapper seat or a ticket-driven feature factory; it is a high-intensity, in-person role where you build core infrastructure alongside the founders.
