Job summary

CuspAI in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-stack Product Engineer to lead the inception and development of our internal application suite, serving as the foundational architect for the tools researchers use daily. You will join our Platform Engineering team, shaping product-focused internal platforms from scratch.

You will work closely with the VP of Product to translate research needs into scalable software, owning end-to-end tool lifecycles from architecture to frontend deployment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Backend with Python and modern web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Frontend with Node.js and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or TypeScript).
• Strong architectural decision-making and product-focused mindset.
• Interest in enabling scientific discovery and working in an early-stage startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead inception and development of internal applications, treating them as first-class products.
• Design backend services and integrate with AI/research engines.
• Build intuitive UIs for researchers and ensure security standards.
