Job summary

Mat Vin in London is seeking an engineer who loves building products in a fast-paced, iterative environment. You will own end-to-end development of user-facing features and optimise for speed and reliability while talking to users to understand problems.

We value collaboration with a cross-functional team and a startup mindset, with relocation assistance for those moving to London. Most work occurs in person at our London office, embracing a zero-to-one phase and strong focus on AI/ML

Qualifications

• Engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js (Framer Motion, Tailwind and Radix is a strong plus)
• Proficiency with relational databases like Postgres
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS and Terraform)

Job description

We’re looking for an engineer who loves building products in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

In this role, you will come up with new ways to unlock value for our users using LLMs and enhance the quality and performance of our application. You’ll be talking directly with users to understand their problems and develop the features they need most.

In this role, you will:

• Own the development of new user-facing features end-to-end. Things like: agentic workflows, real time collaboration and lots of 0 to 1 prototyping

• Optimise the application for speed, scale, and reliability

• Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and other members of the team to create a cutting-edge product

Your background looks something like:

• Engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies

• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js (Framer Motion, Tailwind and Radix is a strong plus)

• Proficiency with relational databases like Postgres

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS and Terraform)

As a person, you…

• Are first and foremost a builder

• Are excited to work in-person from our office in London (most of the time)

• Love working in a startup environment (you either have experience working in a startup or are really drawn to the zero-to-one phase)

We do our best work in person, and so our team spends time together five days per week in our new, bright, and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who'll be moving to London to join us.
