Job summary

Allstate NI is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise endpoint security controls across a global environment. You will administer CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, integrate APIs, and collaborate with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, and Identity teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with EDR, threat detection, and automation using PowerShell or Python, with a proactive approach to DevOps/SecOps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity/endpoint security experience.
• Experience administering AV/EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender).
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) and automation.

Your role in the teamWe are seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to join our team to help secure and manage enterprise endpoint protection technologies across a global environment. This role will serve as a key technical resource responsible for administering and enhancing endpoint security platforms including CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Beyondtrust Privileged Access Management (PAM).The Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise endpoint security platforms. This role partners closely with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering, and Identity teams to protect endpoints, improve detection capabilities, automate security processes, and strengthen the organization's overall security posture. The ideal candidate combines strong operational security experience with modern engineering and automation skills. They have hands-on experience with EDR, firewall management, device control, API management, and endpoint security operations, along with a solid understanding of incident response and threat detection. Comfortable administering CrowdStrike and Microsoft security platforms, they leverage scripting, API integrations, GitHub-based workflows, and emerging AI-driven security technologies to automate processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen security outcomes.
