Join Our Team as a Product Development Technologist!

Aulds Delicious Desserts is one of the UK’s leading dessert manufacturers, creating premium frozen products for the foodservice market for over 50 years. Based at our site near Glasgow Airport, we’re proud to supply high‑quality, innovative desserts across the UK. We’re looking for a Product Development Technologist to join our established Development Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone creative, practical, and passionate about desserts to help bring new ideas to life, from concept through to launch.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing products for customer briefs and blue‑sky projects
• Supporting the full development process, from kitchen sample to factory trial
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation throughout the development cycle
• Liaising with customers to understand and deliver their product requirements
• Coordinating with production teams to run and supervise trials and product launches
• Ensuring HACCP considerations are fully integrated in development activities
• Providing information to support technical documentation and sample submissions
• Monitoring and researching current and future food trends
• Maintaining a clean and safe development kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Product Development Technologist or in a similar role
• Background in food manufacturing, ideally in FMCG environments with High Care and Low Risk areas
• Creative flair with a passion for developing exciting new products
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proficient in IT and confident with documentation
• A team player who’s ready to roll up their sleeves
