Qualifications

• 5+ years of apparel product development experience.
• Strong menswear experience; womenswear exposure is a bonus.
• Excellent knowledge of garment fit, construction, fabrics, washes and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Managing development from design handover through proto, SMS, PPS and shipment stages.
• Leading fit sessions and approving samples; creating and maintaining tech packs, size specs, workbooks and construction standards.
• Managing the development critical path and keeping timelines on track.
• Working directly with overseas factories and suppliers.
• Approving fabrics, trims, lab dips, prints and embroidery techniques.
• Resolving fit, fabric, construction and quality issues.
• Overseeing testing, compliance and product performance.
• Mentoring junior technical/product team members.

Are you a technically strong Product Developer who knows how to take a product from initial design handover through to production?

We’re partnering with an established global fashion group to recruit an experienced Product Developer for a fast-paced, commercially driven apparel brand.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the full product development lifecycle — working closely with design, sourcing, production and overseas factories to deliver great-fitting, commercially viable product on time and to standard.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing development from design handover through Proto, SMS, PPS and shipment stages

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in Apparel Product Development

• Proven experience working with overseas factories and suppliers
• Experience within a wholesale fashion environment
• Sourcing and factory allocation experience
